Lava Return to the Indian Market with All New Products

Introduction

Lava is back with their Tech products in the smartphone market after Micromax. The new Z-series comes with four variants, bringing the first-ever fitness band. Also, Lava’s Z-series smartphones, include Lava Z1, Z2, Z4, and Z6 which comes up with HD+ displays, MediaTek SoCs, up to triple-camera arrays.

Price and Availability

Lava Z1 – 2GB+32GB variant – Rs. 5,499.

Lava Z2 – 2GB+32GB variant – Rs. 6,999

Lava Z4 – 4GB+64GB variant – Rs. 8,999

Lava Z6 – 6GB+64GB variant – Rs. 9,999

All the Z-series phones will exclusively be available on Amazon India from 11th January.

Lava BeFIT fitness band – Rs. 2,699 will be exclusive from 26th January in India.

Lava Z-series: Specifications

6.52-inch HD+ LCD display with a 1600 x 720-pixel resolution

-16MP selfie sensor

-13MP primary camera+5MP secondary+2MP tertiary lens

But Lava Z2 only includes a 13MP+2MP dual-camera setup. No presence of a physical fingerprint sensor on the rear.

-Lava Z2 has 2GB RAM and 32GB of storage (Android 10 Go Edition)

-Lava Z4 has 4GB RAM and 64GB of storage (standard version of Android 10)

-Lava Z6 has 6GB RAM and 64GB of storage (standard version of Android 10)

The first phone designed by Lava in India is the entry-level Lava Z1. The design has been copied from 2015 for this smartphone.

Lava Z1 comes out with a 5-inch HD+ LCD display (Gorilla Glass 3). Includes MediaTek’s Helio A20 chipset, containing 2GB RAM and 16GB storage (expandable up to 256GB via a microSD card). Battery Backup of a 3,100mAh. Features a 5MP camera on the front and rear at Rs. 5,499. Runs on Android 9 Pie which is disappointing in 2020.

Lava BeFIT Fitness Band

Lava also teased its first-ever fitness band ‘BeFIT’ at the virtual event in India. It is an affordable fitness tracker that takes over Mi Band 5 and the upcoming OnePlus Band.

You will receive sedentary alerts, notifications, a phone finder, multiple sport modes, and more with this fitness tracker.

Lava has also made its comeback to promote the government’s ‘Made in India’ and ‘Aatmanirbhar Bharat’ initiatives.
